The loop from “idea on paper” to “idea actually built” is now faster than ever. Building got fast. The bottleneck is no longer writing the code. The bottleneck is writing a clean, accurate specification and then running the work.
The person who can write a precise spec is now more valuable than the person who writes the code. Tools like Google Antigravity make this obvious: your new job is architecting the solution, not implementing every single step. You’ve been elevated to a manager of agents.
These tools are no longer locked inside a browser. They live on a computer. You can give them their own machine, create Jira accounts for them, add them to the board, and treat them like real team members. They talk to each other. They execute.
When the spec is detailed and lives in a completed Jira ticket or statement of work, execution happens fast. What’s left is classic project management work: checking outputs from the bots + your human (often offshore) teammates, writing the next tickets, and evolving the product.
